Xiaomi can soon launch two new smartphones, will be cheaper than Redmi 10X.

Xiaomi is working on two new Redmi phones that will be priced lower than the 4G variants of Redmi 10X. This claim was made by a well-known tipster on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. Tipster said that the Helio G8 X series processor will be used in both these phones. Remember that the Redmi 10X was launched in China last month at an initial price of CNY 999 (about Rs 10,700).

According to a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station named Tipster, Xiaomi is working on two new budget smartphones whose prices can be less than the recently launched Redmi 10X. Tipster said that MediaTek MT6969T and MT6769V / CT processors will be used in the phone. The real name of the processor is not known, but it may be part of MediaTek's Helio G8 x series processor.

A report by PlayfulDroid states that both these phones can be part of the Redmi 9 series - Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A. As you already know, the Redmi 9 was launched in Spain last week. It is equipped with MediaTek Helio G80 processor. It has not yet been launched in China. It is reportedly listed on the Chinese regulatory site TENAA. The listing has revealed that the Chinese variants of the Redmi 9 will have three options based on RAM / storage. In addition to the two global market variants, an additional 6 GB + 128 GB storage variant will also be brought.

Apart from this, the alleged Redmi 9A handset is listed on the US FCC website with the M2006C3LG model number. It is believed that it is a Redmi 9A handset which will have 4,900 mAh battery, 4G support, dual-sim and MIUI 11.

Xiaomi has not yet officially said anything about both these handsets. It is certain that the Redmi 9 will now be launched in China and possibly offered in India as well.
