Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020 get Android 10 based ColorOS 7 update.

The Android 10 based ColorOS 7 update has started receiving in India for the Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020 smartphones. Let us know, a few days ago Oppo released the roadmap for ColorOS 7 rollout for Indian smartphones. Recently, Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro received Android 10 based ColorOS 7 update, while now Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020 have started getting this update. Now only the Oppo F7 smartphone is left, which will be released this latest update under the first phase. The second phase will start in July and the smartphones that will get Android 10 based ColorOS 7 update in the second phase include handsets like Oppo F15 and Oppo R15 Pro.

Oppo announced through its community forum that Android 10 based ColorOS 7 update is being rolled out for Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020. The firmware version of the update for both phones is CPH1931EX_11.C.65_1650_202006102350. Let us tell you, the company had earlier given information that it will be rolled out 'batch by batch', so it may take some more time for this latest update to reach your Oppo smartphone. Currently, this update has been rolled out via over-the-air (OTA), which users can manually check in their smartphones. To manually check, you must first go to Settings and then update the latest version after that in Software Update. Apart from this, users can get new updates by going to Settings and then Software Updates and clicking on the Settings icon on the right side and clicking on Apply Trial Version.

The OPPO India Customer Care Twitter handle has also confirmed this update rollout for Indian users. For official updates, his tweet advises users to use the trial version process. Giving information, OPPO has stated that it should take three days for the update to reach the users through trial version process.

According to the changelog, the latest ColorOS 7 update will bring the DocVault feature in the Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020 smartphones with the Digilocker service of the Government of India to promote paperless governance. Apart from this, this new update will bring new interface, new Oppo Sans default font, better privacy feature and new customized icon. Not only this, Indian users will also get a new 'Hawa Mahal' wallpaper in this update. The smart slidebar has also been optimized to promote one-handed use. Also, two new additional settings have been introduced on the fullscreen app, which is assist ball opacity and Hyde assist ball. Apart from this, the update will also get an optimized three-finger screenshot, navigation gesture 3.0, system-wide dark mode, new focus mode and new charging animation. A new pose function has also been added for screen recording.

The ColorOS 7 update optimizes visual interaction and startup animation in the game space. Apart from this, the simple home screen mode features new live wallpapers and large font and clear layout.
